We have the pleasure of inviting you to another virtual fincafé. Just like last time, you can expect one and a half hours filled with inspiring speakers and the latest insights in finance. This time the event is entirely devoted to phishing:
- What are banks doing to protect their customers? How do banks and police work together?
- Why do people keep falling in the phishing-trap? Can science offer a solution?
- How do other countries deal with the phenomenon?
These and many other questions will be answered during a virtual fincafé about phishing on Tuesday 20 April between 14:00 and 15:30.

- Keynote speech by Gijs Boudewijn, General Manager @ Dutch Payment Association: Phishing abroad - what can we learn from our neighbouring countries?
- Scientific insights by Prof. Dr. Barbara Briers, Associate Professor of Marketing @ Vlerick Business School.
Afterwards, the speakers will share their views on phishing during an interactive debate in which they will be joined by Tania Vergauwen, Head of Department @ Antwerp Police.
