Karel Baert is van opleiding master in de rechten aan de KU Leuven en behaalde ook een master in financieel management aan de Vlekho (nu KU Leuven campus Brussel). 

Hij startte zijn carrière als advocaat aan de Brusselse balie,  maar werkte nadien 10 jaar in verschillende managementfuncties bij Deutsche Bank in België en Duitsland. Midden jaren 90 stapte hij over naar bpost, waar hij als directeur retail de leiding had over het postkantorennetwerk. Hij stond ook mee aan de wieg van bpost bank, in 1999 was hij daar even gedelegeerd bestuurder.

De voorbije 20 jaar was Karel Baert aan de slag bij Egon Zehnder, waar hij managementadvies gaf aan financiële bedrijven en overheidsorganisaties.

Heidi Delobelle holds a master’s degree in Mathematical Sciences and Actuarial Sciences.

Heidi started her career at Ageas’s Belgian subsidiary AG Insurance in 1998. Since then she held various positions in Employee Benefits to become Chief Risk Officer of AG in 2012. Since 2019, Heidi was Managing Director of AG’s Employee Benefits & Health Care business.

On 22 October 2020, Heidi Delobelle was appointed Chief Executive Officer of AG Insurance. In this role, she also joined the Management Committee of the Group as ‘CEO Belgium’.

As a corporate relations board member, you are responsible for the relationships with regional partners and internal follow-up.

Ian is a bachelor student in Applied Economics at the University of Antwerp. Interested in M&A, Strategy Consulting & PE.

Since January 2017, Lieve Mostrey has been Chief Executive Officer of Euroclear Group.

Ms. Mostrey joined Euroclear in October 2010 as Executive Director and Chief Technology and Services Officer of the Euroclear Group and as an Executive Director of the Board.

Prior to Euroclear, Ms. Mostrey was a member of the Executive Committee of BNP Paribas Fortis in Brussels, where she was responsible for IT technology, operations, property and purchasing.  Ms. Mostrey began her career in 1983 within the IT department of Generale Bank in Brussels, moving to Operations in 1997 and, upon its merger with Fortis in 2006, became country manager for Fortis Bank Belgium. She became Chief Operating Officer of Fortis Bank in 2008, which was acquired by BNP Paribas in 2009.

Ms. Mostrey was previously a Non-Executive Director of SWIFT, RealDolmen, Visa Europe and of Euroclear. She was until recently a member of the Supervisory Board, the Nomination & Governance Committee and the Remuneration Committee of Euronext.

Ms. Mostrey is an active member of several initiatives contributing to the development and growth the financial sector which include:

• Febelfin’s Women in Finance, which aims to unify financial organisations in tackling gender diversity and share best practices.
• Strategic Committee of the Federation of Belgian Enterprises (VBO-FEB), which is the only multi-sector employers'​ organisation representing companies in all three regions of Belgium.
• General Council of the Vlerick Business School in Belgium as a keen advocate of education.

Having earned a degree in civil engineering from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in 1983, Ms. Mostrey completed a post-graduate degree in economics from Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 1988.

As a projects board member, you work together with other 'projects' ,from the five different cities and collaborate on a national and international level. Together, you organise larger events such as the Amsterdam-London Finance Trip, inhouse days and case competitions. This function includes high responsibility tasks as you play a vital part in shaping the future of national events of Capitant.

Corentin is a bachelor student in Economics and Management at HEC Liège. Interested in Finance, Economics and Consulting.

Michaël Van Droogenbroeck (1978) is financieel journalist bij de VRT. Van 2017 tot juni 2020 presenteerde hij op Radio 1 het actualiteitsprogramma De Ochtend. In HLN bracht hij regelmatig een bijdrage over de meest courante vragen die mensen zich stellen over geld.
